Authentic Sender

Send WordPress email through reliable SMTP.

Download coming soon

Authentic Sender replaces WordPress’ default mail() delivery with a configurable SMTP connection, provider presets, sender identity controls, test email, and an optional email log under Settings → AuthenticSender.

The problem. WordPress relies on PHP mail() by default, which often fails spam checks or never leaves the server—so password resets and notifications go missing.

What it does. SMTP routing with host/port/encryption, provider presets, encrypted credentials, From/Reply-To/BCC controls, test email, and a filterable delivery log with retention.

Best for. Site owners and agencies who need WordPress mail to actually arrive, with clear SMTP settings and a log when something fails.

What you get

SMTP routing with host, port, encryption, and auth
Provider presets for Gmail, SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark, and Hostinger
Encrypted SMTP password storage (AES-256-GCM)
Test email plus filterable delivery log with retention
From, Reply-To, and BCC controls with Force Identity option
BCC skips password resets and similar sensitive messages
Falls back to WordPress default mail when SMTP is disabled
