PageReader

Read page content aloud with Google Text-to-Speech.

Coming soon

Pinpoint PageReader adds a floating play/pause button that reads selected page content aloud using the Google Cloud Text-to-Speech API, highlighting each sentence as it’s spoken. Configure voice, speed, pitch, button appearance, which content to read, and whether it appears on all pages or specific post types. Progress can resume where you left off—even after closing the browser.

The problem. Visitors and readers who want audio often get no built-in way to hear page content with clear sentence focus.

What it does. A lightweight floating player powered by Google TTS, with sentence highlighting, playback controls, optional shortcode/per-page controls, and server-side audio caching to reduce API usage.

Best for. Sites that want accessibility-friendly read-aloud, content sites, and publishers using Google Cloud TTS.
